Turenscape is an award winning landscape architecture and urbanism practice based in Beijing and founded by Dr. and professor Kongjian Yu at Peking University. It is known for its ecologically sound and sensitive practice, and is constantly developing and implementing nature-based solutions, which is science lead and ancient wisdom inspired, to address environmental issues across multiple scales, from eco-home design and ecological urbanism to regional and national-level ecological planning. It has become a major advocate of the Sponge City concept aiming at the protecting and reconstructing of ecological infrastructure that provide holist ecosystem services.
