SERA has recognized that the climate crisis isn’t simply a challenge to our world’s ecological systems, it threatens humanity on a scale unprecedented in history. And it impacts our already vulnerable, underprivileged populations most.
For many years, we’ve held sustainability as a basic tenet of our work–centering on holistic, integrated design processes.
Our approach to sustainability is broad – including resource management, wellbeing, and over 30 other topic areas on our Project Compass, and now we’re intensifying our focus on climate impacts. We’re analyzing and tracking operational climate impacts of our full portfolio of projects, and their total embodied carbon emissions.
